Starting alignment (5 offense)
Run the 1-4 variation when you want to attack off the dribble from a spread high-post alignment. Your one man drives directly into the lane with all four players spaced along the perimeter to prevent help defenders from crowding the paint. Use it to create isolation drives against a defense that struggles to contain ball penetration.
