Use Flex Rip when you want to combine a baseline flex cut with an immediate back-screen to reset the action. Your 4 passes to 3 and cuts baseline while 2 screens at the free-throw line — the rip cut attacks the defender who cheats the flex. It puts pressure on the defense to cover both the cutter and the rescreener at the same time.
