Philosophy of Princeton — frame 1 diagram
1 dribbles to the right perimeter; 2 cuts to the right block; X2 passes to X1

This play introduces the core Princeton idea — your point guard dribbles to create a passing angle while 2 dives to the block for a backdoor read. The defense is taught to communicate switches in real time, making this as much a teaching rep as a live action. Run it to drill the timing between the dribble-entry and the backdoor cut that makes the whole Princeton system go.
