Double Penetration — frame 1 diagram
1 dribbles to the free-throw line; 1 passes to 2; 2 cuts to the free-throw line; 3 cuts to the right wing; 2 passes to 1

Run Double Penetration when you want to probe the middle of the defense with the ball handler and create a quick kick-out opportunity. You drive to the free-throw line, push it to 2, 3 relocates to the right wing, and 2 fires it back — two dribble-penetrations in quick succession pull the defense out of position. Attack the gap that opens on the second drive.
