Step 14 defense guarding 3 offense - Defense traps the ball looking to get a deflection or steal - When the coach says DROP IT, the offensive person who has the ball puts the ball on the ground - The defense picks up the ball and tries to score with 4 offense and 3 defense - You can't guard the person who was guarding you, so you need to communicate to match up with someone different - If the 3 defensive players get a stop, they transition the othe way - Keep playing 3 on 4 unitl the whistle blowsStep 2Coached yelled DROP IT, so now the defense has the ball and the offense is now defending - Cant guard the same guy that was guarding youStep 3The offense tries to score against the 3 defense - The defense needs to scramble and rotate to get the stopStep 4The defense gets a stop, so they transition the other way - You can play 4 on 5 with same rules
