Draw Basketball Plays Online

PlayDraw is a free play drawer for coaches. Drag the five players where you want them. Tap a player and choose a pass, handoff, dribble, cut or screen. Drag in an arc for a curved cut or screen, or draw it straight and then pull its middle to bend it. Add a step for each part of the play, then press Play and watch it run.

Use a half court or a full court, with NBA, college or high school lines. A player can stand out of bounds, so you can draw an inbound play from under the basket or from the sideline.

Keep the play

Tap Keep this play and enter your email. You get a PDF with every step and a picture of the court. Copy the picture into a text, or share it with your team. If the play has more than one step, you can also save it as an animated GIF or as a video sized for Instagram.

The drawer holds one play at a time, and nothing is saved on this site. Email the play to keep it, then tap Start over for the next one.

Napkin mode

Just need to sketch it fast? Napkin is a blank paper napkin for your finger or mouse. Draw the play, then copy it, share it or save it as a picture. Free, with no email.

PlayDraw Pro is coming

The PlayDraw Pro app saves your plays, builds series and whole playbooks, animates them in the studios, and imports a play from a PDF or a screenshot. Sign up and get a founder's discount when the app is released.
