Call this when you want to keep the defense guessing on the wing by giving your guard two opposite reads. You enter the ball to 2 and then choose: take the hand-off and attack off the dribble, or cut backdoor when the defender jumps the action. The two options are the whole point — one read makes the other open, and the defense cannot take both.
