Use Double Screen and Flare when you want to combine interior screening action with a flare screen on the perimeter to keep the defense scrambling. You move the ball from 1 to 3, use 4 as a cutter, trigger a flare screen on the weak side, then re-enter through 5 at the elbow to set up a final drive or pull-up. The layered actions are designed to create at least one coverage breakdown — be patient and take what the last screen gives you.
