Run Spread Down when you want to punish a defense that is packing the paint by spacing the floor and attacking the seams. You move the ball from your four to your five in a five-out look, keeping all driving lanes open and every corner occupied. It forces individual defenders to commit without help and puts them in one-on-one situations.
